Republicans –
Want to Regain American’s Respect?
|
The Republican Party must take drastic action to save the country before we follow in the footsteps of the European Union, which will be a third world backwater within 25 years. The party platform must be clear and concise with no room for accommodation from the ironclad principles that must be established, regardless of what may prove to be short-term resentment and the inevitable media attacks. Here’s a simple 10-point plan for Republicans to regain the respect of the American middle class and bring disenfranchised voters back to the voting booth. 1. Pull all of our troops out of Iraq by June 30, 2007. You never had justification for our misguided invasion of Iraq – Afghanistan and Bin Laden yes, but Iraq no. 2. Reaffirm your commitment to small government. Set up committees to investigate and significantly reduce local, state and federal expenditures. While you are at it, promise the American people you will not recommend or approve any bills that contain earmarks (“Pork”). 3. Find out who the Republican pedophiles, degenerates and crooks are who are officeholders. Exorcise them now before any more damage is done. Only Democratic pedophiles, degenerates and crooks will remain to be exposed before the 2008 election. 4. While you still have the voting power in Congress, solve the immigration problem that force wages down and increases crime. No amnesty. Enforce the laws that are already on the books (penalties for hiring illegal aliens). Illegal aliens will disappear like lemmings jumping into the sea. Set up a carefully controlled Guest Worker program to permit X amount of workers per year and build a foolproof, secure wall along the 1,700 miles of the U.S. and Mexican border. Use the money saved from unused Iraq military expenditures to fund the program. 5. Stop trying to appease moderates and Christian evangelicals – it doesn’t work and just muddies the waters. These same Christian activists would never vote for the debauchery espoused by the Democrats anyway. 6. Stop trying to manipulate your platform to attract blacks and other minorities. They are so highly controlled by the Democratic machine; they will likely never change their position. However, with the elimination of illegal aliens, they’ll be plenty of jobs for blacks. Maybe they’ll see the light. 7. Stop trying to create a New World Order. Abandon your plans for the new North American Union in which Americans have all to lose and nothing to gain. While you are at it, drop your support for the “Big Brother” Real ID program (akin to the Soviet Union’s internal passport) to protect the sanctity of the American citizen and our civil liberties. 8. Stop fighting gay marriage and abortion. Government should not be used to legislate morality. Take a position that it’s a moral and religious question that government should not legislate, i.e., “Separation of church and state.” Let the Democrats try and trash the Constitution and make fools out of themselves. 9. Vote against every socialist program proposed by the Democrats, who are destroying the social fabric and the economic base of the country. 10. Finally, launch town meetings and free seminars to explain your platform to the American public. Educate the masses on the Constitution, the Founding Fathers and the meaning of “free enterprise” and why socialism means the end of our economic freedom and standard of living in this country. Yes, we’ve all read that extreme conservatives are defeated time and time gain at the voting booth. Perhaps that’s because the non-voters are so disgusted by the “moderate” position (meaning pseudo-socialist) of many Republicans, that they have little interest in supporting the party. Depending on the election, REGISTERED voter turnout can range anywhere from 30 to 60 percent. In the 2004 presidential election, 122,000,000 votes were cast out of an estimated adult population of 200,000,000. What about the tens of millions of people who won’t bother to register because of the “disgust” factor? If you create a meaningful party platform, you may be surprised (over time) how many of these millions of people may be reinvigorated into politics and support the Republican Party platform. One last thought. Before creating a meaningful policy, be sure and read everything that has been spoken or written by President Ronald Reagan and the recently departed often-lambasted economist Milton Friedman. |
